Enjoy a family island experience at our cozy little inn. Situated within easy reach of downtown Nassau, surrounded by gardens with hummingbirds and butterflies.
Major attractions, such as the Ardastra Gardens Zoo,
Arawak Cay Fish Fry (a restaurant & entertainment complex with over 30
businesses located just 200 yards east of the Inn) and
historic Ft. Charlotte, are within easy walking distance, as are two good
beaches. Excursions and dive trips may be booked through our front office.
Nearby there are fun activities such as horseback riding, nature walks and segway tours.
December is a fun filled month, with the world famous Authentically Bahamian
Christmas Craft Show held from Dec 5-7 - a mega event showcasing the talents and
high quality handmade products of local artisans - and Junkanoo on Dec 26 and
New Year's Day, the highlight of the Bahamian calendar of events, with colorful
costumes, themes, dance, and music that will hypnotize you with it's rhythm.
Junkanoo is a tradition that dates back to slavery, and the costumes reflect the
colorful, exotic African heritage of the Bahamian people. It starts at 1am and
goes on until..............!
